Field Trips

Field Trips are one of the most important benefits of Club membership and one of our most popular features. They combine the joy of discovery with hands-on education. Many trips are suitable for children (although not all–each individual trip will list the age range that is allowed).

Upcoming Field Trips

Dear Fellow members,

Field Trip sign up for 2021 has begun!

Vaccines are rolling out at a better pace these days, ensuring more of us are able to be vaccinated. With that being said, we are asked by the CDC for continued vigilance in following the guidelines they continue to set forth. As a result, this years trips will have added requirements for people to be mindful of everyone around them with regard to Covid safeguards and acceptable behaviors. It can be very busy at times to be a leader of a trip, adding Covid Police to that role can be challenging if we make it that way. As trip attendees, we ask that you help all trip leaders in this area.
We would personally like to thank all of you (past and present) who have generously offered your personal time to take on a trip leader role—these trips are available because of your willingness to step up and volunteer. We know by experience that it is also very fun to partake in. Personally, we have built many lasting friendships from the camaraderie created during trips, including those we have led and are so very grateful for this experience.
Please read over all trip information. Some activities are still evolving and trip leaders are still needed for some trips to take place. The ultimate goal is to add more trip experiences to this list.

Signup will be different than years past as the website is not ready to accommodate this feature.

Instructions to sign up for field trips are as follows:

  1. Field Trip signup information  posted on April 10, 2021.
  2. Print out all available forms: fill in and sign where necessary.
  3. Email these completed forms to:
  4. You will receive notification back informing you that you are signed up. Please be patient.

Please note: Not all trip information is available (times, schedules etc.) It will be sent out as soon as it is confirmed.
: Find lodging in the city nearest to your field trip and make reservations. Be mindful that if a cancellation or change to field trip would occur, any payments made might be lost.
